The State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC) of the University of Macau (UM) organised the first IOTSC Summer Camp for outstanding mainland university students, as part of the university’s efforts to promote study tours.

The State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart Cities (SKL-IOTSC) of the University of Macau (UM) held a two-day strategic planning meeting on 30 June and 1 July in Zhuhai to explore the future direction of the laboratory and formulate corresponding development strategies.

A delegation led by Zhao Jing, director-general of the National Remote Sensing Center of China under the Ministry of Science and Technology, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song.

To respond to the development needs of China, as well as regions such as Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in energy-related professions, and to help the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area become an international technology and innovation centre and an international education demonstration zone

The “2023 SKL-IOTSC Sports Day” was held on 22 May at UM Sports Complex (N8).  Badminton competition was chosen as the major sport for the event. There were a total of 8 teams and 47 participants in the competition.

Postgraduates in the University of Macau (UM) State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC) Smart Energy Group won the Outstanding Award of the 8th Bank of China Trophy One Million Dollar Macao Regional Entrepreneurship Competition.

The first meeting of the management committee of the China Southern Power Grid – University of Macau Joint Laboratory of Smart Power and Energy for Carbon Neutrality was held today (17 March) at the University of Macau (UM).

The Inauguration Ceremony of the Satellite Ground Station of the University of Macau (UM) and Symposium on Disaster and Ocean Remote Sensing Technologies was recently held at UM.
