He Weijie, an alumnus of the University of Macau (UM), today (9 September) donated two meteorological satellite ground reception systems to the university. The systems are expected to provide assistance to UM and its State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City in the research work of monitoring and prediction of meteorological disasters, in order to promote smart city development in Macao.
