UM hosts Asia Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering
The University of Macau (UM) hosted the 11th Asia Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering (ACPEE 2026). The conference brought together more than 250 scholars, researchers, and industry professionals from 20 countries and regions, including Macao, Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Brazil, and Canada.
UM, Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion of CAS establish Joint Laboratory of Digital and Intelligent Energy Systems
The University of Macau (UM) and the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) have jointly established the Joint Laboratory of Digital and Intelligent Energy Systems. The aim is to drive innovation in low-carbon energy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and beyond.
