Established in 2020 with the Shenzhen University, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau. The joint lab aims to develop front edge research for the major scientific and industrial demands of smart cities. It includes the following directions: Internet of Things and sensing technologies for smart cities, system framework and platform technology for smart cities, urban big data fusion and synthesis, simulation of smart cities development, multi-mode traveling service for smart cities, and urban public safety and disaster prevention.
