After the period, Song Yonghua, President of the University of Macau, had an in-depth meeting with Chairman Au Bingguang and his delegation. President Song Yonghua introduced the academic development and department reform of the University of Macau to the delegation, especially the development positioning and goals of the civil engineering major, the Regional Ocean Research Center and the National Key Laboratory of Smart City Internet of Things. Chairman Ou Bingguang introduced the history and development of the Macau Civil Engineering Laboratory since its establishment, including a series of large-scale transportation, infrastructure, environment, ocean and other engineering construction projects in Macau that the laboratory has participated in, and also reviewed the relationship between the laboratory and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Macau. An agreement on talent training and scientific research cooperation reached at the beginning of the establishment of the institute.
