A team in the University of Macau (UM) State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC) won a first prize in the algorithm track and the only Best Innovation Award at a national competition on artificial intelligence (AI) application in power dispatching, under the guidance of Chair Professor Yonghua Song and Assistant Professor Zhang Hongcai of the Smart Energy Group of the laboratory.
