UM scholar’s study on online matching published by top journal of ACM

In a study on online matching, a scholar at the University of Macau (UM) has discovered a new model that can be widely used in today's society, such as in the DiDi carpooling service, or landlord and tenant matching. The study is the only breakthrough in arbitrary online matching problems in the past 30 years.

A UM SKL-IoTSC paper on data mining accepted by top international conference ACM SIGKDD

A latest paper by a research team at the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, University of Macau (UM), titled ‘Preserving Dynamic Attention for Long-Term Spatial-Temporal Prediction’, has been accepted by ACM SIGKDD 2020, a top conference in the field. This year, a total of 1,279 papers were submitted to the Research Track of KDD, of which 216 were accepted (16.8%).
